l/2 cup mayo
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
l small garlic clove, pressed
l/2 tsp. dried basil, crumbled
l/2 tsp. dried thyme, crumbled
l/2 tsp. dried tarragon, crumbled
l/2 tsp. dried dillweed
2 6-oz. swordfish steaks
l/4 cup dry white wine
Combine mayo, lemon juice, garlic, basil, thyme, tarragon & dill
in small bowl. Season with s & p. (Herb sauce can be made 2 days
ahead) Butter 8″ square baking dish. Spread each of swordfish steak
with l tablespoon herb sauce. Place in prepared dish and chill
30 mins. Preheat oven 400. Pour wine over fish. Bake until fish is
just cooked through, about l7 mins. Transfer to plates. Serve,
passing remaining herb sauce separately.
