3 lbs. ground beef
2 cups uncooked rice
2 jars tomato sauce
3 large onions
plenty of garlic powder
Italian seasonings
In a bit of oil saute chopped onions until soft and cooked through. Add ground beef and stir until
no longer pink, adding garlic powder, Italian seasonings & s&p. Cook until done. Add the tomato
sauce and rice and mix thoroughly. Fill peppers that have been seeded and tops removed.
Sprinkle with mozarella or Parmesan cheese and bake in 350 oven for aobut l hr. or until peppers
are tender.
This amount is enough for about 20 peppers – decrease recipe for needed amount. The best way to
bake these are to cover with a bit of sauce and then cover with aluminum foil, otherwise they get a bvit
too hard. Maybe uncover the last few minutes.
