Strawberry Sherbet

Recipe Summary

2 (1-pint) baskets strawberries (about 4 cups), rinsed, dried, and hulled
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
A few drops lemon juice or kirsch, optional

In a blender, puree the strawberries with the water and the sugar. Taste and adjust the flavor with a few drops of the lemon juice or kirsch, if needed.
Transfer mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
