SCALLOPED MUSHROOMS ***

l-l/2 lbs. mushrooms thickly sliced
l 8 oz. box Ritz crackers (3 stacks) crushed
l cup heavy cream
l/4 lb. butter melted
salt & pepper
In a lightly buttered 9xl3″ pan place 3/4 of the mushrooms. Add l/2 of the cracker crumbs then remaining mushrooms and finally remaining crumbs. Pour cream evenly over contents of pan. When it has soaked in top with melted butter. Salt & pepper top generously. Set aside for l hr. Bake at 350 for 30 mins.
