l pkg. bo xed pound cake
l/2 cup butter melted
5 eggs
2 cups conf. sugar
2 pkgs. (one 8 oz. and l 3 oz.) cream cheese softened
l/2 tsp. vanilla extract
l cup chopped walnuts
In large mixing bowl combine the dry cake mix, butter and 3 eggs; beat until smooth. Spread into greased l3x9″ baking pan. Set aside 2 tbsps. confec. sugar for topping. In a bowl beat the cream cheese, vanilla, remaining sugar and remaining eggs. Pour over battrer. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350 for 35-40 mins. or until cakes begins to pull away from sides of pan. Cool on wire rack. Dust with reserved sugar. Store in refrigerator.
