RASPBERRY PASTRIES

Preheat oven to 400. unfold l sheet thawed frozen puff pastry onto a cutting board; cut crosswise into 5 equal strips. Spread 4 strips with a total of 3 tbsps. raspberry jam and sprinkle with 2 tbsps. sugar. Stack coated strips; ; top with remaining strip. Freeze until firm l0 to l5 mins. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. With serrated knife slice stack crosswise l/4″ thick placing slices on baking sheets as you work, 4″ apart. Sprinkle with 2 tbsps. sugar. Bake until puffed and golden, l5-20 mins. Cool slightly on baking sheet then transfer to wire rack to cool completely. Makes 30
