PECAN FUDGE PIE

Make crust for l0″ pie
3 large eggs, beaten lightly
3/4 cup sugar
3 tb ps. all purpose flour
l/2 cup canned evaporated milkd
l tbps. vanilla
3/4 cup dark corn syrup
8 oz. bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, melted, cooled
l/2 tsp. salt
3 cups pecan halves
Whipped cream as an accompaniment if desired
Filling: In a bowl whisk together eggs & sugar and whisk in flour,
evaporated milk, vanilla, corn syrup, chocolate, salt & pecans.
Pour the filling into the shell & bake the pie in the middle of 350
oven for l hr. tol hr and l0 mins, or until filling is just set and
cracks appear on the surface. Let the pie cool on a rack and serve
it with cream.
