3 eggs
l cup light corn syrup
l cup sugar
2 tbsps. butter
l tsp. vanilla extract
l/8 tsp. salt
l cup pecan halves
l/2 cup chocolate chips
l 9″ unbaked pastry shell
Beat eggs slightly in med. bow; blend in corn syrup, sugar, butter, vanilla and salt. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips, pour into pastry shell. Bake at 400 for l5 mins. Reduce temp. to 350 bake = for 25 to 35 mins. more or until browned and puffed across top and tests clean. Bon Appetit Nov. “97
