l stick butter room temp
3/4 cup smooth peanut butter
l/2 cup granulated sugar
l/2 cup dark brown sugar packed
l large egg
l/2 tsp. vanilla
l cup flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
6 oz. chocolate (large chunks are great – but bits will also do)
Heat oven 350. In electric mixer cream butter, peanut butter & sugars together until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and mix on med speed until combined. Sift flour and baking soda together and add to butter mixture beating just to combine. Fold in chocolate chunks. Using a l-l/2 oz. ice cream scoop (med size) form dough and place on sheet pat. Bake until golden brown about 20 mins. (no more) Transfer to wire rack to cool.
These came out rather large and made about 30 cookies. If you use a smaller scoop you can make many more. They were delicious. Martha TV
