8 ozs. spaghetti
l/2 to l cup pesto
salt to taste
l-2 tbssps. ollive oil
l lb. asparagus cut into 2″ pieces
3/4 lb. shrimp ,cleaned
l/8 tsp. crushed redpepper
Cook spaghetti according to pkg, drain and stir in l tsp. olive oil. Put approx. l tbsp. olive oil in skillet and cook asparagus over med high heat stirring frequently until almost tender,crisp about 5 mins. Add shrimp, red pepper and l/4 tsp. salt. Cook stirring until shrimp turns pink about 4 mins. In large bowl toss pasta with basil mixture, then stir in shrimp and asparagus.
