Spareribs (about 8 lbs.)
l med. onion, quartered
2 cloves
l bay leaf
l celery top
l tsp. thyme
l/4 tsp. pepper
Place ribs in large pot and barely cover with cold water. Add
remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, reduce heat & simmer covered
40 to 45 mins. Drain & cool. Marinate and grill as directed.
