ORANGE CREAM CAKE

l pkg. lemon cake mix
l envlope unsweetened orange soft drink (Kool Aid)
3 eggs
l cup water
l/3 cup veggie oil
2 pikgs. (3 oz. each) orange gelain, divided
l cup boiling water
l cup cold water
l cup cold milk
l tsp. vanilla extract]
l pikg, instant vanilla pudding mix
l carton (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping thawed
In mixing bowl combine cake and drink mixes, eggs, water and oil. Beat on med. speed for 2 mins. Pour into ungreased l3x9″ baking pan. Bake at 350 for 25-30 mins. or until pick comes out clean. Using a meat fork poke holes in cake. Cool on a wire rack for 30 mins. Meanwhile in a bowl dissolvel pkg. of gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cold water. Pour over cake. Cover and refrigeragte for 2 hrs. In mixing bowl combine milk, vanilla, pudding mix and remaining gelatin; beat on low for 2 mins. Let stand for 5 ins; fold in whipped topping. Frost cake. Refrigerate leftovers.
