l2 muffin papers or oil for muffin tin
l 3-oz. bar whigte chocolate
6 tbsps. butter
l-l/3 cups flour
l/3 cup mcstevens spicy cherry cocoa (see note)
l tbspds. baiing powder
l/2 tsp. salt
l egg
l cup sour cream
l/2 cup milk
l/2 cup sugar
Heqt oven 350. Prepare muffin tin. Cut the chocolate into small pieces and set aside. Melt the butter over
low heat. Set aside to cool. Stift into med. bowl the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. In a separate
med. bowl whisk the egg lightly. Gradually whisk the melted butter into the egg. Add the sour cream,
milk and sugar and beat until well blended. Add the liquid ingredients and white chocolate pieces to
the dry ingredients. Stir just to combine. Fill each muffin cup with batter to 3/4 full. Bake for l5-20 mins. or
until skewer comes out clean and dry. Serve warm
Note: If not available substitute this mixture: l/3 cup unsweetened cocoa, l tsp. ground cinnamon, l/2 tsp.
ground alalspice and l/2 tsp. nutmeg.
