Heat the broiler. In a bkaing dish stir together 5 tbsps. soy sauce, 2 tbsps. hoisin sauce, 2 crushed garlic cloves, l tbsps. honey and l tbsps. sugar. Put 4 center cut pork chops, well trimmed, in the dish and turn to coat well. Marinate for at least l hr. at room temp. or up to 24 hrs. in refrigerator turning occasionally. Remove the chops from the marinade, transfer to a pan and broil, turning once, until just done, about l5-20 mins.
