MARINATED COLESLAW

l large head of cabbage, shredded
l onion, chopped fine
l large green bell pepper, chopped fine
l stalk celery, chopped fine
l-l/2 cups sugar
l cup cider vinegar
3/4 cup veggie oil
l tbsps. salt
Combine cabbage, onion, pepper, celery and sugar. Mix and set aside. Combine vinegar, oil, and salt in saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour over cabbage mixture and stir well. Cover and refrigeragte until ready to serve.
