LOVELY POTATO CASSEROLE

2 lbs. baking potatoes, skinned, shredded
l/2 cup butter, melted
l tsp. salt
2 tnsps. dried onions, minced
l can cream of chicken soup
2 cups sour cream
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
l/4 cup butter
2 cups canned french fried onions
Preheat oven 350. Combine potatoes, l/2 cup butter, salt, onion,
soup, sour cream and cheese. Put into a greased 9xl3″ baking dish,
spreading to full. Combine l/4 cup butter with the crushed french
fried onions and sprinkle on top.
Bake l-l/4 hrs.
