l gal. dill processed pickles
9cups of sugar not 77 cups sugar
l heaping tsp. cloves (whole)
l heaping tsp. peppercorns
l cinnamon stick broken into 4 parts
l0-l2 garlic cloves (slightly crushed)
Drain all liquid from pickles. Slice (spears or chunks). Divide
ALL ingredients into 4 parts and layer into jar – start with
pickles, sugar, peppercorns, cloves & cinnamon. Shake and turn jar
until all the sugar is completely dissolved. Refrigerate.
