LILY’S APPLE CAKE

Grease a 9″ pie pan. Melt l stick butter in small pan – remove from heat and add 3/4 cup sugar – let
cool. Add l egg, l tsp. baking powder, l tsp. cinnamon, l/2 tsp. salt, l/2 tsp. nutmeg, l/2 tsp. cloves and
l/2 tsp. vanilla. Then add l cup of flour. Fold in 2 cups peeled chopped apples and l/2 cup chopped
walnuts or pecans. Bake at 350 for 40-45 mins.
