l cup sugar
l/2 cup butter, softened
l/4 salt
3/4 light corn syrup
3 eggs
3 tbsps. bourbon
l tsp. vanilla
l cup pecans, whole or coarsely chopped
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate pieces
9″ pastry shell
Preheat oven to 450. In large mixer bowl beat sugar, butter & salt
until creamy. On low speed, beat in corn syrup, eggs, bourbon,
vanilla until just blended. Stir in pecans & chocolate. Spoon
filling into prepared piecrust. Bake l0 mins. Reduce oven to 350 and
continue baking 25 mins. more or until knife inserted halfway
between edge and center comes out clean. Cool completely.
