HUNGARIAN CHI CKEN BREASTS

5 whole chicken breasts
l/4 lb. butter
s& p to taste
4-5 green onions, chopped
3-4 cloves garlic, sliced
l/2 pt. sour cream
l tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsps. bread crumbs
l tsp. paprika
l/2 cup dry white wine
parsley for garnish
Cut whole chicken breasts in half. Remove skin and bones and pat dry with paper towel. Melt butter in a long b aking dish. Place chicken pieces on the bottom. Sprinkle with s&0, turn and sprinkle the other side. arrange side by side; divide onion and garlic evenly and place beytween or under chicken pieces. Combine the sour cream with worcestershire sauce and a little s&p and pour over chicken so that it is completely covered. Sprinkl the top with bread crumbs and parika. Bake at 375 for l-l/2 hrs. After first 30 mins. add half of the wine, pouring it on the side. Bake another 20 mins and add remaining wine. Finish baking the last 40 mins. Garnish with parsley.
Serves 6 to 8.
I made this with four hugh half breasts that I cut in half (about 8 pieces in all but each big) I cut the butter to about 4 tblbs. but left onions and garlic the same. I cut the sour cream to l/4 pt. (l/2 of 8 oz. container). It was out of this world. (Worcestershire sauce was the same amount).
