l large cabbage head
l cup cooked rice
l lb. lean ground beef
l/2 lb. Italian sausage
l med. onion choppped
l tsp. salt
l/4 tsp. pepper
garlic salt to taste
2 cups sauerkraut
2 cups tomatoes
Remove l0 whole leaves from cabbage and steam 3 mins. or until soft enough to roll. Combine rice, ground beef, sausage, onion s&p and garlix salt and mix well. Place about l/4 cup meat mixture in each cabbage leaf and roll up. Place rolls in 9xl3″ dish. Combine sauerkraut and tomatoes and pour over rolls. Bake 2-l/2 hrs. at 325. If rolls appear to be getting dry during baking cover pan with foil. Makes l0 cabbage roills. May be frozen. Prodigy
