In large bowl: within 5 days of receiving starter:
Mix: Starter (l-l/2 cups)
l large can peaches (cut up) with the juice
2-l/2 cups of sugar
Stir daily and keep at room temperature. l
l0th day: Add 2 cups sugar
l large can chunk pineapple with juice
Cover and stir daily.
20th day: Add 2 cups sugar
l large can fruit cocktail with juice
l l0 oz. jar marachino cherries with juice
Cover and stir daily.
30th day: Drain juice from fruit and save.
Divide fruit in l/3rds
Divide juice into l-l/2 cup portions (5 portions) and
give to a friend (who will soon be an ex-friend).
/This will make 3 bundt cakes.
For each cake:
Mix l cake mix (not the pudding variety) according to pkg.
2/3 cup oil
4 eggs l CUP CHOPPED WALNUTS OR PECANS
l small box instant pudding
Fold l/3 of the fruit into each batter (2 cups per cake)
Pour into well greased tube pan; bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes.
Options: add l cup raisins to each cake mix PLUS
add l cup coconut to each cake mix
Can be made also in aluminum loaf pans (baby loaf size). Each cake
makes about 5 of this size. Bake until straw comes out clean.
Keep testing.
NOTE: Must put in a gallon GLASS jar. Use fruit packed in juices
NOT syrup. Never refrigerate the starer.

yellow cake mix and vanilla instant pudding mix
lemon cake mix and lemon instant pudding mix
orange cake mix and vanilla insant pudding mix
yellow cake mix and butterscotch instant pudding mix.
