l lb. lean ground beef
s&p to taste
4 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded
l cup sour ceam
2/3 cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp. choped onion
2 cups Bisquick baking mix
l/2 cup water
2-4 thinly sliced ripe tomatoes
3/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped
Cook and stir the meat in large skillet until brown. Drain off excess fat. Season meat with s&- then set aside. Mix the cheese, sour cream, mayo and ononion and set this mixture aside. Stir the baking mix and water together until a soft dough forms. With floured fingers pat the doug in a greased baking pan l3x9″ pressing the dough l/2″ up the sides of the pan. Layer the meat, tomato slices and green pepper onto the dough. Spoon the sour cream mixture over the top and sprinkle with paprika, if used. Bake uncovered until the edges of the dough are light brown, 25 to 30 mins. Cool 5 mins. and then cut into squares.
Serves 6 Prodigy (good results) Bake at 350.
this is delicious but should be baked for about 45 mins. or so. Keep checking after about 35 mins. The whoel casserole should be browned, not all white.
