EASY PIE CRUST

l cup flour
l/3 cup cake flour
l tbsp. sugar
l/2 tsp. salt
6 tbsps. chilled butter cut into l/2″ pieces
2 tbsps. chilled solid veggie shortening cut into pieces
3 tbsps. or more ice water
Blend first 4 ingredients in processor. Add butter & shortening with on/off turns until corse meal. Add 3 tbsps. water and process until moist clumps for, adding more water by tsp. if dough is dry. Gather dough winto ball and flatten to disc. Wrap in plastic and chill l hr. Soften slightly before rolling out. Transfer to 9″ pie dish. Crimp edge decorately. Continue with Walnut Pie.
