CRISPY ONION STRINGS *******

2 lbs. onions cut into VVERY VERY VERY thin rings
flour
salt and pepper
about 3″ oil in very large frying pan
heat oil to 350 degrees. drop onion rings that have been lightly coated with the flour and s&p. cook for about 2-3 minutes stirring constantly so they don’t stick together.
don’t let them get too dark – med. brown is perfect.
