l can (2l-oz.) cherry pie filling
Combine cake mix, eggs and cherry pie filling in large bowl and
blend with large spoon until well blended. Pour into greased and
floured 9xl3″ baking pan and bake at 350 for 35-40 mins., or until
cake springs back when lightly touched. Frost when completely cool
with the following if desired, or your favorite topping.
Icing: 5 tbsps. butter
l/3 cup milk
l pkg. (6-oz) semi sweet chocolate chips
l cup sugar
In small saucepan, combine sugar, milk and butter. Bring to a boil,
stirring constantly and cook one minute. Remove from heat; stir in
chocolate pieces until completely melted and smooth. Cool and then
spread over cake.
