l-l/2 cups flour
l tsp. baking soda
l/2 lb. butter room temp
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
l large egg
l tsp. vanilla
l=l/2 cups oats
l cup dried cherries
4-l/2 oz. bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
l cup toffee pieces
Heat oven 350. In lare bowl sift together flour and baking soda. In bowl of electric mixer cream butter and both sugars on med speed until light and fluffy, 2 to 3 mins. Add the egg; mix on high speed to combine. Add flour mixture to egg mix and mix on low speed until well combined. Add the oats, cherries, chocolate and toffee pieces; mix to combine after each addition. Spoon a heaping tablespoon of dough onto lined baking sheet, spacing 2″ apart. Bake cookies until golden brown, l4 to l6 mins. rotating baking sheet halfway through. Transfer to wrie rack to cool. Martha TV
