BROWN RICE

l box mushrooms
l red pepper
l green pepper
l yellow or orange pepper
l/2 Spanish onion
l/4 cup oil & l/4 cup butter
l garlic clove
Saute all veggies in oil until very tender. Add l-l/2 cups Uncle
Ben Brown Rice (or white) l tbsps. chicken base, 2 tsps. Brennen*
vegetable seasoning and 3 cups water. Bring to boil, cover and
cook on low for l-l/2 hours or until rice is tender.
*Mrs. Dash can be substituted for Brennan’s.
Serves 8.
