BLT RANCH OR ITALIAN DRESSING DIP

L TB SPS. BUTTERMILK RANCH DRESSING BASE OR ITALIAN DRESSING BASE FROM PENZEYS
l tbss. water
l cup sour cream
l/2 cup mayo
l lb. bacon fried and crumbled
2 cups chopped tomatoes (about 2 large)
Put the ranch dressing base and the water in to a bowl, stir and let stand about 5 mins. Whisk in sour cream and mayo until well blended. Fry the bacon, let it drain and crumble it into l/2″ pieces. Cut the tomatoes into wedges, seed them and chop them into l/4 to l/2″ pieces. Fold the bacon and tomatoes into the dip. Refrigerate until serving time. This is perfect to make the day before allowing more time for the flavors to blend. Serve with your favotite crackers.
