l lb. lean ground beef
l med. onion, chopped
2 tbsps. butter
l cup shredded carrots
3 cups finely shredded cabbage
l tsp. salt
l/2 tsp. pepper
l l6 oz. jar herb style spaghetti sauce
l tbsps. Worcestershire
l tbsps. chopped chives
l/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
l/2 tsp. garlic powder
Saute onion in butter until soft but not brown. Add beef. Cook until
meat loses pink color. In a 2-qt. baking dish (buttered) layer the
add meat mixture and press down slightly. h s&p and garlic powder.
Add remaining cabbage. To spaghetti sauce, add Worcestershire and
chives. Pour over top of casserole. Bake (covered) at 350 for about
l hour. Add cheese to top and bake uncovered for 5 mins. Serves 4.
