BEEF BURGUNDY, OVEN BAKED

2 tbsps. soy sauce
2 tbsp. flour
2 lbs. beef stew meat
4 medium carrots, peeled & cut into chunks
2 large onions, sliced
2 heads celery, sliced thin
2 cloves garlic, minced
black pepper, marjoram, thyme to taste
l cup red wine
l cup sliced mushrooms
Blend soy sauce with flour in 3-qt. dutch oven. Add meat & toss to
coat. Add rest of ingredients & stir to mix. Cover tightly and bake
at 325 for l hr. Add mushrooms, stir gently, re-cover & bake anothe
l-l/2-2 hrs. Serve with rice, noodles or taters.
Serves 6 to 8.
