l tsp. minced garlic
l tsp. minced peeled fresh ginger
l plum tomato chopped
Combine all ingredients in a small, heavy nonreactive saucepan and cook over mod. heat until syrupy and reduced to a scant l/4 cup, about l2 mins. Cool to room temp. Serves 6 (makes a scant l/4 cup) Gourmet
