6-8 oz. chicken breast halves boned & skinned
Garlic salt
l stick butter, melted
l tsp. paprika
3 tbsps. lemon juice
l cup sour cream, room temp.
l/4 cup Sherry
2 4-oz. cans mushrooms stems & pieces, drained
generous dash cayenne pepper
Preheat oven to 375. Sprinkle chicken with garlic salt to taste.
Mix together melted butter, paprike & lemon juice. Brush chicken
breasts well with butter mixture and place in shallow pan. Bake
tented with foil about 30 mins. or until tender, brushing with
remaining butter mixture occasionally to keep from drying. In a bowl
blend together sour cream, Sherry, mushrooms & cayenne pepper. Pour
over chicken for last l5 mins. of baking.
Serves 4 to 6.
