8 boned and skinned chicken breasts
8 slices of bacon
4 oz. dried beef
l can mushroom soup
l cup sour cream
l/4 cup sherry
l lbs. sliced mushrooms
Wash beef and shred into a 9xl3″ dish. Wrap each breast in a slice
of bacon and place on beef. Mix together the soup, sour cream,
sherry and mushrooms and spread on the chicken. Bake at 275 for 3
(Prodigy: As you will see this is easy to increase. I make the
soup topping thick, like a frosting, using extra cream and sherry
and spread it on the chicken to cover completely. The chicken will
be very moist and delicious. Serve with rice, green salad and
fresh baked rolls. It is always a real hit. Leftovers freeze well.
